DCP Pools & Patios Sponsors Hogs for the Cause Fundraiser as a “Battle Boar” level sponsor, we are proud to support this incredible charity that raises funds for pediatric brain cancer, the leading terminal cancer in children in the U.S. Hogs for the Cause, based in New Orleans, hosts an annual BBQ cookoff and music festival to celebrate a year of fundraising, providing critical support to families battling this devastating disease.

Grant Pinkerton, the renowned owner of Pinkerton’s BBQ, has been a passionate advocate for Hogs for the Cause, participating in the event for two years and winning the whole hog competition both times. After becoming a father and seeing firsthand the impact of pediatric brain cancer on someone in the Pinkerton’s BBQ family, Grant decided to deepen his commitment to this cause.
